Delicious simplicity in 5 minutes: my signature sandwich

One of my favorite sandwiches since my college days has been the simplicity of a salami and swiss cheese sandwich. The one pictured here is on a toasted multigrain sourdough bread with hot mustard, arugula, and fresh cracked pepper. I alternate between fresh spinach and arugula depending if you want a tamer version or one with more bite to it. I also added fresh basil from my mom’s garden (that’s what that stem is from in lieu of a toothpick). A side of fresh sliced jalapenos and a gerkin. All made in 5 minutes or less ๐Ÿ™‚
