Sometimes when we’re stressed we forget that stress is an internal reaction to something external. And often times, if not most of the time, stress is created out of our own thinking. It is our very own thoughts creating the feelings of stress. It is our mind creating thoughts that are untrue.
So it’s important to keep in check what we’re actually thinking. It is these very thoughts that create our reality. There’s a saying that I’ve read and often heard that goes something like this:
Watch your thoughts, for they become words.
Watch your words, for they become actions.
Watch your actions, for they become habits.
Watch your habits, for they become character.
Watch your character, for it becomes your destiny.
